Terms and Conditions of Use and Stay

These Terms regulate the use of the website and the provision of local accommodation services of Domus Valentes.

1. Object

Domus Valentes offers temporary accommodation for tourist purposes, subject to the conditions described here.

2. Reservations

  • Reservations can be made online, by phone or email

  • The reservation is only considered confirmed after payment or valid guarantee

  • The entity reserves the right to refuse reservations without justification

3. Prices and Payments

  • Prices are presented in euros (€)

  • May vary according to season, duration and number of guests

  • Payment can be requested in advance, in whole or in part

  • Security deposits may be required

4. Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in: 3:00pm

  • Check-out: 11:00

Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

5. Use of Accommodation

The guest undertakes to:

  • Use space responsibly

  • Comply with safety standards

  • Do not exceed the maximum authorised capacity

  • Do not hold parties or illegal activities

  • Respect the rest of neighbors

It is forbidden to smoke inside, unless otherwise indicated.

6. Damages and Liability

The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the property, equipment or third parties during the stay.

The entity is not responsible for:

  • Lost or stolen personal items

  • Accidents resulting from improper use of facilities

  • Interruptions of external services (water, electricity, internet)

7. Cancellations and No Attendance

The cancellation policy depends on the conditions of the reservation and may include:

  • Free cancellation until a certain date

  • Partial or total penalty after this period

  • Full charge in case of no-show

8. Animals and Children

  • Pets: not allowed

  • Children: admitted under the responsibility of accompanying persons

9. Legal Compliance

The accommodation operates under the Portuguese legislation applicable to Local Accommodation, including mandatory communication of guests to the authorities.

10. Data Protection

The personal data provided will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

11. Applicable Law and Forum

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the court in the area of the entity's headquarters is competent, unless otherwise provided by law.
